Upgrade ConstructiVision software without charge

These are upgrades only, they will not work unless a previous version is already installed.  

If you have not previously installed or have uninstalled the software, please visit our Download page.

  Upgrade ConstructiVision Standard (for AutoCAD^®) to Version 10.1.1

This will upgrade ConstructiVision Standard Version 8.0 (or higher)  to Version 10.1.1.   

If you are attempting to upgrade Version 7.0 (or earlier), it is strongly recommended that you acquire AutoCAD Version 2000 (or higher), and install ConstructiVision Standard to take advantage of the newest features available.  Applying this upgrade to Version 7.0 will cause it to become inoperable.

Instructions:

1. Close AutoCAD® if it is open.
2. Click Here.
3. Windows will ask whether to Save or Open (Run in Windows XP®) the File.
   1. Choose Open (or Run) to install now.
   2. If Windows issues a warning, confirm your selection.
4. Do not change any of the settings unless your primary hard drive is not "C"
   1. If your hard drive has a different letter, change the "C" in "C:\" to your drive letter.
5. Click Unzip.
6. Click OK. 
7. Click Close. 
8. Open AutoCAD® and run ConstructiVision normally.

Enhancements and Patches to ConstructiVision Version 10.1.1 include:

• The Title Block has been changed to more accurately reflect the Project and Contractor information.
• Easily create joist, girder, and chord connection pockets.
• Change the Project Name at anytime without having to create a new Project.
• Create a new Panel using the current drawing as a template simply by changing the Panel Number in the Main Dialog box
• Use Windows Explorer to Cut, Copy, and Paste your Projects and Drawings to any drive or directory you wish and still be able to edit them.
• The TiltUp/PreCast option has been removed from the Project Type.
• Enter all dimensions exactly as specified without having to subtract panel gaps, miter allowances, and/or wall thickness (if specified from Inside Wall).
• Enter multiple-level floor and or roof embed arrays quickly and simply.
• Built in Architectural (Feet & Inches) Calculator.
• Automatic dimension "clean-up" for Panel Drawings.
• Embed type, quantity required, and cross reference printed on each drawing.
• Automatic Panel Gap and Wall Closure checking.
• Create and print multiple Site Layout views: Plan N,S,E,W Elevations, 3D Isometric, etc., with one mouse click.
• Take advantage of  AutoCAD's Multiple Document Interface (MDI).  Simultaneously view and/or edit as manvy drawings as you want.
• Specify Embed elevations to Top-of-Plate or Center-of-Plate.
• Joist and Girder Layouts for embed placement.
• Create multiple Site Layouts simply and easily.
• Place Form Liners on Panel Edges and Inside Openings
• Bug fix for printing with AutoCAD 2002 (and higher).
• Free 30 day Trial Period extension included for previously installed versions (if installed earlier than 11/01/06).

Installation Details:

• These Updates apply to ConstructiVision Standard (for AutoCAD®) only.
• Your existing registration and subscription status will not be affected.  All of your previous Projects will be saved.
• Permanent Disk space required: 0 MB.
• Temporary Disk space required for the upgrade files: 1.3 MB

• Installation times will vary depending on your connection speed: 

  • Approximate times at Modem speed (28,800 bps): 2 minutes

  • Approximate times at DSL or Cable speed (640,000 bps): 3 seconds
